Knit & Quilt

The first installment of our 2011 shipments goes to Shades of Grey.  These pieces allow one to revisit comfort and warmth while still bringing classic garments to head.  Both the winter shall collar cardigan and the quilted round collar coat have been designed with leather buttons which are braided to the garment for additional strength.

Gym Socks Not Allowed

Ever out somewhere and wonder why the guy across the room is wearing white tube socks with his less than impressive dress attire?  Our rantings of “appropriate dress” comes from a humble place, acting as an honest and realistic opionion of how people perceive one another.  They say you can tell a lot of a person by looking at their shoes, and the socks aren’t far behind that statement.

NOT ACCEPTABLE

 The image below is most certainely not limited to solely men, but women alike share this common oddity.  This phenomenon in the footwear debate of socks with sandals, is blatently apparent that it’s in poor taste.

Holiday Gift Reception

A dear friend of ours is hosting a Holiday benefit in our store.  Here is a warming letter inviting all to join.

” I hope this letter finds you and your family well.  I need your help this Holiday season.  The Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery in Golden Valley and the Hallie Q Brown Center in St. Paul have both approached me for assistance in supporting their families.  They are in need of help with their Holiday Wish List.  I know this year has been especially tough for everyone, so I’m inviting you to drop off your gifts at a reception I’m hosting to Thank You for your generosity.  So please ask your friends, family, and co-workers to help with your list and invite them to celebrate the spirit of giving at the party on December 9th.  Thank you for your time.”  (Dawn Selle)
